I see a few issues…

First, the category shortcode option only takes category ID/s not the names. After that is corrected, I’m confident that the correct categories will be displayed.

Second, the ../wp-content/connections_templates/slim folder still exists so the new version of the template is loading that, as a custom version, instead of the new version like it should. You need to delete that folder.

Third and lastly, it seems the core CSS file is not being loaded. The reason is like that the option has been disabled on the Connections : Settings admin page under the Advanced tab. If you re-enable the CSS option, that should fix the display issue.

I think after these items are addressed, thing will be fine. Let me know. Hope this helps!
