I can definitely consider adding importing the Family entry type. I’ve added the request to my issue tracker as a feature request. I didn’t include it because of the need to manually edit the families to link the individuals. There really is not a way to do that step via the import because the linking is keyed on the entry ID the database assigns when an entry is inserted, something that can not be known beforehand.

As for export, that has been long on my todo list…
