Follow up question… how do I control the zoom for the Google Maps in the business directories?

OH wait, now I’ve got it. I also had to go into the browser api key and add the full domain address, not just in the Domain Verification tab. Whew.

Thank you for that information. Strange, I keep going back to the API Manager > select my project > Credentials > Domain Verification and the screen is blank until I add the domain once again. I made sure that the same account has ownership in Search Console.

Do you know if it takes some time to populate? I’m pretty sure that I added the domain a couple of days ago as well, but when I go back to that tab, it’s blank.

I also tried turning off the Google Maps script within the theme setting s(Avada) but that did not change it and then the map did not display on the Contect page.

Here’s the error message in the console:

Google Maps API error: RefererNotAllowedMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#referer-not-allowed-map-error

Is there a way to check or verify the Google Map keys? I entered the base URL

We only have lat/long values, not a physical address. If that has anything to do with it.

I enabled the “Google Maps API v3”, purged caches, then refreshed the page. I do now see that the map is attempting to come up, but then it shows this error:

    Oops! Something went wrong.
This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.
