ParticipantTHANK YOU!

ParticipantThanks. I figured that the whole backend would have to change to be able to do the reverse lookup. It sure would be nice though…
thank you!

ParticipantYour assumption is correct. :) I was attempting to use member_group to display individuals the family. I did consider using categories when I set it all up. I went back and forth. But I really wanted to be able to see the people in each church because they are the key contacts.
I will add this to the feature requests. I think if you can show the people in the family, you should be able to show which family the people belong to. :)
Thanks for the quick response.

ParticipantOk, thanks. That worked. However, even though they technically display in alpha order by city, they still have the character heading that goes with their name. Is there a way to make the character heading match the sort?

ParticipantThat fixed it. Thanks. Seems strange to disable display of ALL email addresses… but it’s no big deal. I will probably use the Form extension anyway. Thanks for the quick response.

ParticipantA follow up to order_by…
Can you order by locality? If so, how? I tried this:
[connections str_work_phone='Office Phone' str_work_addr='Street Address' str_other_addr='Mailing Address' category='3' order_by='locality|ASC']but it still displays the individuals in alpha order by last name.
Thank you!

ParticipantJust following up on part of this as it is a need I have as well:
Is it possible to have a link to the family on a single entry? In other words, if I have a family created and it has multiple relations added to it, can I also display on the individual relation what family they are in?
So for example, let’s say I have the family “Smith” with a brother of “John.” When I look on the front end at Smith, I see that John is listed. When I click on John, is there also a way to see that he is in the Smith family?
Thank you!
