ParticipantCan you provide a code snippet for the functions.php of my Child Theme to integrate that customization? Or do I have to make a feature request, so that an option like that will be included in the future version of Slim Plus? I think it would be really a great feature for all Templates, because you can have standard and premium entries and stuff like that.

ParticipantOk, I also think this is a bad idea. It would be better to have tags to choose in a second selector.

ParticipantI did that, but my results are odd. If I use LIKE QUERY it seems to perform an or search (I get all Oceanic-entries and all Moscow-entries; see below). And if I switch to FULLTEXT, I get results only for one term search words. If I search for example for “oceanic moscow” there are no results, even if I have a company “Oceanic” in the city of Moscow. In the options I checked the boxes for searching in Organization and Adress City. If I search for “Oceanic” or “Moscow” only there are results. But how to do searches with 2 or more words combined for more specific results?

ParticipantIs it also possible to have two selectors? One for each parent category?

ParticipantIs this issue solved?

ParticipantIs it possible to make this change in a child version of cMap or do I have to make this change with every update of the template?

ParticipantMaybe 2 other ideas regarding this issue…
How about auto completion of a search term entered? That way it wouldn’t be possible for the user to do searches under 4 characters.
Or is it possible to write some kind of redirect in the search, that company names less than 4 characters will be forwarded to right entry. For example as an option in the backend where I can define short search terms and connect them to the correct entry or as a rewrite rule in a special connections htaccess.

ParticipantDo you have some kind of quick workaround? I have some customers that have a three-letter company name and they complain about, that they can’t find themselves in the business directory… :-(
