Ok, so I’ve confirmed it’s related to my theme “Hueman”. If I switch to the 2016 theme, I’m able to control the text color via the “h3 a” CSS code above. As a workaround, I was able to use this custom CSS code to affect the h3 header type site wide:
.entry h3 span {color:#696969}
Although the issue is technically “fixed”, I’m still curious as to why the theme is hijacking the h3 header color. Any ideas?
