Steven I abandoned trying to put connections on the home page at this time especially since you said it was a tricky beast. So I stopped testing it.

I’m have a glitch with the initial_results='false'.
If I use the shortcode (plus the code snippet you provided) on a post or a regular page it works great! Perfect.
When I try to use this shortcode on a page designated to be the WordPress static “Front page” I can’t get the shortcode to work.
Is there a work around for this or will it only work on pages and posts that are not designated as the static Front page?

This worked great. Just one edit. The line below needs to be added after your first line and then it worked great.

add_action( 'cncsv_import_fields', 'cncsv_process_import', 10, 2 );
