    FYI, I wanted to try a free caching plugin so I installed W3 Total Cache and it made a world of difference!

    Thanks Steve – I will give that a try. The page you looked at – http://ccl.rutgers.edu/collaborators/ – is a bit slow, but another one (on a dev site that’s not yet public) is even slower. That’s the one I am most concerned with. So hopefully WP Rocket will help – thanks for the tip!

    HI Steve

    I just installed that extension and my categories all disappeared! So I deactivated and got my categories back. Holy cow, that was scary! Any idea why that may have happened?

    Specifically, I want to have the drop-down menu show:

    Faculty

    Staff

    Divisions

    (then list the 6 divisions in a specific, non-alpha order)

    And not show “uncategorized” as an option. That would be a worthwhile functionality and I would certainly pay for the add-on.

    Hi Steve

    I just read through this thread because I was looking for a way to limit and re-order the categories in the dropdown menu. I wanted them to show in a selected order (not alpha-order) and leave off certain categories. If this becomes a feature or an add-on, I’ll be a very happy camper!

    Thanks again by the way. Your support is the best, really. I am singing your praises all over Rutgers. We have a WordPress user group and I am telling all of them about this plugin and the awesome support. :-)

    Hey, I got the CSS to work now but I changed it to:

    #cn-tile-plus .cn-alphaindex {
text-align: left !important;
}

    Now it’s aligned left.
