I got the beta and installed it with no problems. The feature works exactly as I expected it would, thanks! The only feedback I have is, you should work to add this feature to your next release, it’s very handy.

Maybe a bit more complex, but having more options on what to display or not could improve this even more. Also you could add a feature allowing users to choose to not allow parent categories to be selected, and a shortcode to remove the “Show all categories” option.

Thanks again for taking the time to add this feature for me. I’m very pleased with the plugin, and the support you offer for it is unparalleled.

If you could send it that would be great! Thanks.

Setting a value for parent_category doesn’t seem to do anything for me. Does this require some work in the PHP to get it to function properly? It sounds like this is the functionality I’m looking for though.

Either way, I wanted to say that I took over on a project that was previously using a different plugin. I replaced it with Connections and Connections has proven to be significantly better in every aspect. Also, I very much appreciate how active you are in the forums, and how quickly you responded.

    Thanks!

I’m not sure if this makes a difference, but I don’t really need a whole different form. I just need each page to only show the sub-categories for each main category in the drop down menu. This would also require a separate URL for each.
