about french translation is there a way to translate the search string and drop menus strings as “show all categories” etc… ?

So do I, because I’m in the same position. I would like to have two pages, one public with no personal infos, one for the alumni members in the private area that shows everything. I Would like to know also how to add some more date denomination as “Class of” And my very wish is to be able to get two categories menu to cross reference the alumni when you want to sort the list.
