@ Ray
Not certain exactly what you’re asking, but I’ll take a stab it.
The Floral Park Village site is using a much older version of cMap and you’re running the latest version so there are some differences. The white background that is being shown on cMap is not correct and is being caused by a style in the theme. This will no longer be an issue for the latest version of cMap because it no longer uses a table for layout.
The other big difference is when you click thru to a single entry. This is what I think you might be asking about, please let me know if it is not…
One of the new features in Connections 0.7.6.x was a completely new templating system. One of the major enhancements allows, for the lack of a better term, multiple views. So, when in “list view” cMap is displayed in the card format and in “single view” the design, or lack of, is to permit the theme to style the elements as much as possible for a visually seamless experience for the user.
This decision was made because of very high demand that when in “single view” that the info and map be expanded by default so the user would not have to continue clicking to see the info. Because a list of items is not being shown and everything is open by default, visually, it made more sense to allow the theme to handle the styling. This offers a pretty good integrated experience for the users.
I hope this answers your question accurately and thoroughly.
