Navigate to the Connections Settings admin page and click the Advanced tab. Disable the Name option under the Permalinks section.

RE: Only thing I could find is under Settings/Display under Single Entry I re-checked the “template” option to display a single entry.

I recommend that you disable that option … especially since you do not wish to link to the single entry profile page.

RE: I am still not seeing any of these contacts showing up as a link where someone can click to get the details and then “add to address book”.

You will only see this above the entry on the single entry profile view of the template, which you have disabled.
