You need a template which supports search. The keyword search field support searching the city field in addresses.

The issue is that you are displaying hundreds of entries on a single page. This is not a bug or limitation in Connections, the same would occur if you were to try to display that many WordPress Posts on a single WordPress Page.

The solution is the same as my previous answer to the other question, you’ll need a template which supports pagination.

I would recommend the cMap template.
