It appears to be a theme conflict. When I switch to the TwentyFourteen theme, the title display correctly as per the Connections SEO settings.

I did not move on to try plugin conflicts.

Do you know if there are settings within Avada that can interfere? When I look at blog posts, for example, they are showing the title structure that I would expect (and want).
