Sounds like another plugin or perhaps the theme is including their javascript on the Connections admin pages rather than just their admin page(s) and causing a fatal javascript error to occur.

You can check for this by opening the page in Chrome, hitting the F12 key and then clicking the Console tab. Now try an export. Any javascript errors will be shown in the Console.

My suggestion is to check for plugin and theme conflicts:
