When editing the address the lat/long is retained because many users use a custom lat/lng. They do this because the Google Maps Geocoding API is not always accurate and they need to be able to “lock” a specific lat/lng in order to properly place the map pin. So, having these fields auto reset and re-geocode is not possible without breaking the feature for those who need it to function the way it currently functions. I do see you point too, not sure how it could be remediated so it could function to meet you needs to. If you have any ideas, I am open to suggestions.
