You mean you deactivated the “Contact” extension correct? It is possible that the theme or another plugin is hiding them. I would need a temp admin account so I could have a closer look.

The email address are set to public or private and not unlisted, correct?

The email address are shown by default in Tile Plus. My suggestion. Delete the entire shortcode and manually type just [connections] and see if it works.

The cMap template and the Market template. I recommend the cMap template for one big reason. It can be completely configured via the template customizer, no messing with the shortcodes. The next update to Tile Plus will implement the Template Customizer too until then, I think cMap is your best option.
