You should be fine to update. The only thing you might have to do is go to the Connections : Settings admin page, click the Advanced tab and click the Save Changes button. That’s all, no changes will actually need to be made.

If you do run into an issue, before resorting to backups and restoring, please contact me first, I’ll take a look. With that said I do not think you’ll run into any issues.
