In short, yes to your questions. You’ll need both the Form and Link extensions for Connections to accomplish this. Link, for link a specific registered WP user to a Connections entry. This allows them to edit their entry in the admin. Form, will enable frontend editing for both the admin and the “linked” user if Link is installed and activated.
