So here is the 64K question…
If I use the latest version that allows for custom fields, do I need to worry about this? I see it this way:
1. Back up the data
2. Update the plugin to the latest version.
3. Create the new custom fields using the latest version.
4. Migrate the old info to the new version.
5. Update normally thereafter.
Does this seem like a feasible plan? If so, I can update everything on my dev server and move over the new clean files after the fact. Let me know if this makes sense. and whether or not it will work. Also, can you tell me how long it took you to fix this? Just an estimated time? I want to keep my developer honest. Thanks.
