Unfortunately I am unable to replicate this. I tested version 0.7.9.5 and my latest dev version. Perhaps something to do with the setup of the local dev; maybe?

Since you do have a dev setup, could you pull the latest dev version from Github?

I did remove a ?> which was followed by a blank new-line in this dev version. This in theory could cause the new line issue in the vCard file.
