A quick web search reveals that this seems to be a GoDaddy issue.

I’m not certain why that would work, but, I guess it is worth a try.

If that still fails you could update Connections manually using FTP:

• https://wordpress.org/plugins/connections/#how%20do%20i%20install%20connections%3F
