Two things I see right away is:
- You probably should not use the Divi Login Module on the directory page. The content is shown whether or not the user is logged in. For example, even though I am logged in, the message “Please login to view the directory.” is still being displayed above the directory. This would be confusion to users. This is not a bug or limitation in Connections. It appears to be simply the way that module works. I would say the same is true for the create account section below the directory.
- The
[connections]shortcode should not be in a Code module, it should be in a Text module as the Code module is to be used only for displaying actual code on the page.
Suggestions to correct:
- Remove the Login module and the content below the directory from the page.
- Put the
[connections]shortcode in a Text module. - Use the Login addon to place the a login form on the directory page. After the user is logged in, this will not be shown to the user unlike the Divi Login module. You can also put a button/link to the user registration page.
I’ve not yet looked at the redirect issue… can you please give me the password to your test user (as a private reply) so I can take a look?
