Hard to say. This is WP failing to do the update which is really outside of Connections control…

My best guess is that either the memory allocated to PHP is being exhausted or the max_execution_time for PHP is being triggered.

Please see these two faqs:

I recommend 128MB of memory for PHP and 300 seconds for max_execution_time.
