Reply To: Editors Cannot View Directory Contents While Admins Can

LOL! Now that I look at the screen you are referring to, I see now that I’ve been to that page and I actually referred to it in one of my messages above:

As far as Editor Roles are concerned, everything is checked except for
the last item, “Reset Editor Capabilities”.

Forgive me, I’m fighting a cold and my head has been rather cloudy for the last several days… When you suggested that yesterday, I was thinking in terms of the overall WordPress related roles for users.
