You use the Entry ID field populate with the entry ID assigned to the entry by the WordPress database.

re: I’ve been using WP All Import on a couple of other sites, and I was wondering if you had thought of letting them map Connections to use in their plugin? I think they will actually map it for free. Just a thought.

WP All Import only works with post/pages and custom post types. Connections is none of them. It uses custom tables where the schema has been optimized for directories whereas WordPress pages, posts and CPT has been optimized for posts.
