It sounds like any of these fit the bill, choose the design you like best:

  • Circled (you’ll need to enable the category drop down and search since they are disabled by default, see the doc page.)
  • cMap
  • Excerpt Plus (by default it only shows the bio, but the rest of the info can be re-enabled, see the doc page also see this FAQ.)
  • Gridder (you’ll need to enable the category drop down and search since they are disabled by default, see the doc page.)

The last bullet point; “Sort the list by different criteria“, there is not an option in any of the templates to allow for the user to change the sort order.
