It would seem that WordPress is failing to properly update the plugin…

When you say you completely remove the connections folder and then install a fresh copy. Which method do you use to install the fresh copy? With WordPress or FTP?

WordPress is still functional otherwise with Connections active, yes? Can I get a temp admin account?
