Open the page in Chrome and hit the F12 key. Click the Console tab. Look for script errors.

I suspect another plugin is loading its javascript on the Connections admin page and is causing a fatal error which in turn is preventing the Connections scripts from running properly. That other plugin should be updated so it loads its javascript on its admin pages only to prevent conflicts such as these.
