It is possible to do 1–3 by overriding the CSS but this will take quite a bit of time as it will be quite challenging. This is one of the reason I offer this addon styled as is.

Doing 4 would require editing the PHP of the plugin. If this is something you feel confident in doing, I can provide some guidance. Let me know.
