The problem with offering alternative icon sets is that none of them offer all the social networks that Connections offers as options. That said, I’ve been working on adding fieldset configuration options. What I hope to offer is the option for the user to choose the icon set they desire and disable the options for which that chosen icon set does not offer. The tricky part is what to do with entries who have a social network entered which does not have an icon available in the chosen icon set.
