it’ll work. many, many other use the exact setup. Here’s sample shortcode pulled from the code you pasted above:

[connections home_id=x category=9]

x in the above shortcode, represents the page ID, of the new “Person” page that you created in step 1 of my original instructions.

After you make the change, if you are using any page caching, make sure to clear it so the fresh page is being displayed rather than the old version without the change.
