Can you share a link to your directory page? What browsers are you using on the computers. Are they all using the same browser? If they are not the same is the issue only occurring in one browser. If they are all the same browser, are all the browsers page zoom set at 100%. bAsically what I am asking is everything the same on all computers with the software? If there are differences is there anything that is common on the ones causing the double spacing vs the the other where the spacing is correct? Right now, I not confident this is an issue with Connections, but an issue with the computers software. If you log in to the forum, using the username/password for your account you created when you made your purchase you will be able to attached screenshots. Maybe those will help determine the issue.
