Regardless of the template being used, the only way to make this changes will be to edit the template’s PHP code and maybe the CSS. See this tutorial on custom template override files.

re: I would also like to change the labels for the phone numbers etc. ie. I do not want it to have ‘work phone’ but ‘phone’ or better still ‘T:’. Can I do this – please point me to the right file in the plugin.

Using this method will change it throughout the plugin though. So the dropdowns in the admin would show, for example T:.

It is possible to use cMap change simply change the display of the label in the template without changing it throughout the plugin.
