It seems to me the best way to implement this would be to use categories for for the plant varieties. And if you need multiple category search, that is possible. See this site: https://sscit.org/ The “Find A Therapist” section. This is a custom multiple category search with zipcode radius search and keyword search which will work just fine with cMap.
