All I can say in regards to the possible conflict with Google results is that the map was working, but since I updated Connections it does not work.

The website’s theme does add a shadow to text, so that is why you see that on the map. If the shadow causes the text to be hard to read I then remove it for that particular text on the stylesheet, but it wasn’t too bothersome on the map so I left it. But I can’t see how this would cause an issue because the map was working with no problem.

I did upgrade Tile Plus recently.
