Sorry, there is not a way to apply custom page title and descriptions at this time. When adding this feature to Connections, I basically mimicked the default of the WP SEO plugin. I realise this is not optimal for everyone because of different requirements and site structures. At some point I hope to release an extension to make this configurable for advanced users such as yourself.

As for the structure data error … that page is to validate the markup for schema.org microdata, not the hCard microdata format that Connections uses (which is well supported by search engines).
