Changing how the image/logo works will be non-trivial. Likely the most simply will be to add an else statement on the following two lines 210 and 255 in the following file:

../wp-content/plugins/connections/includes/entry/class.entry-output.php

Within that else statement, create a link to the entry like it is done on line 521.
