    Hi Steven,

    I hate to ask you again, but the str_select technology is over my head (where would I find the correct string names for the terms listed in the paragraph below).

    I followed all the steps with the po and mo files, uploaded them to the server.
    WP-language is set correctly, but the Select Category still shows, including Show All Categories and Uncategorized, even after emptying the cache.

    Thanks, Steven. So far so good… except the translation into German.
    I am confused about the Transitex link, it is described as the way if you want to translate or contribute to the translation.
    Aren’t there any existing mo and po files to download?

    Hi Steven,

    thanks – that solved the 1st part…
    Now we need to have the listings show as one column, it shows as two cutting off important information. http://screencast.com/t/1cILTS8Ldgr
    I do not see any option where to tweak that, so we are currently displaying the default template (css teaks would be fine with me).

    Also, can we show entries randomly?

    Hi Steven,

    you are absolutely right!
    We had a 404 redirect plugin, the category redirects have sneaked in there somehow.
    Deleted the redirect – fixed.
