Hi Steve,

We use the WP Maintenance Mode plugin and when we click on the directory it displays the maintenance page even though we are logged in as admin. It’s a strange one? It’s more inconvenient than anything as we are still trying to solve the geocode problems. See other post.

Hi Steve,

We have now put the website live and I have installed total cache. I seem to have broken what you did for us above as I have lost the no-cache part of the url. Can you tell me what I need to do to fix this?

Hi Steve,

Sorry to jump in on this thread but we have a similar comment. When I decrease the size of the browser screen the category search is responsive up to a point and then stops being responsive. Is there a way of making it responsive?

I’ve tried adjusting the width but couldn’t get it to work. I noticed that most of the responsive css code has been commented out.

Thanks for your prompt response. That makes sense. I think for now we can just use the drop down category search.
I have made a few changes mostly recommended by you and would like to understand how I make these changes so the changes are not lost in subsequent upgrades. Can you advise the best way to do this?

Hi Steve,
I have tested this with and without the cache being set and page caching for logged in members disabled. This should fix previous problem.
When I select from the category search it works ok. When I select a letter B N or S it works OK, but I can’t then use the category search. Selecting all regions doesn’t work at all i.e. it isn’t active and the other display “no results”.
We appreciate your help with this.

Thanks for your help on this. Our shortcode is:

I thought I’d fixed the problem by setting private in the options you mentioned above but we now seem to be having problems with category search. It isn’t always displaying the default select region and results aren’t as expected. Selecting all regions (regions are categories) doesn’t seem to work when using the initial letter to access a club and then using the search criteria box to return to all regions.

The scenario is members can add an entry (all entries are public) via Link. So all users whether logged in or not should see all entries. By setting the private option it fixed the problem that logged in users were receiving “no results” when viewing the club directory.
Would it help to give you access?
