ParticipantForm…” edit their existing entry when used in conjunction with Link on the site’s frontend.”
I have two possibilities:
1) A user for whom there is email in their entry. After they register and login, they look at their directory entry and decide that a change is needed. If the drop down at the upper right is an admin…how do they get Form?2) A user with entry, but NO email in the Directory record, they register and login…How do they edit their record?

ParticipantSo then if you have Link as part of the arsenal, then Form never appears?
Form is then only for new, never before entered, directory listings?

ParticipantBut that is the screen that comes up from the “Edit my Directory entry” for a new subscriber with a linking email address.
I am confused.
Where would I see the effect of that css?Alex Botkin
ParticipantYep. Rather than replace words on the form, although I’ll do some of that, I figured taking out the organization and department would eliminate some confusion.
I’ve attached the custom css printscreen and the appearance of the form after clicking the “Edit my directory entry”
Unfortunately Organization and department are still there. I’m assuming that something in the css is wrong, as I am only skilled at cut and paste css :-)

ParticipantI realize it was a stretch. The display is fine. My problem is I have dates like “before 1976” You wouldn’t believe how lousy death records are.
The “full date” comment relates to the input. I had originally assumed the “Y” would operate there also. So I just use 1/1/year since it only shows the year.

ParticipantThe first attachment is a PrintScreen of the settings (private override is checked below) And the second is the non-registed browser screen. I don’t have “Connections Login” activated yet, is that the problem?

ParticipantMy knowledge of CSS is mostly conceptual so I’m still a bit confused as to how a change like this:
div#cn-metabox-section-organization, div#cn-metabox-section-department
{ display: none !important; }can be executed by the WordPress theme.

ParticipantIt cleaned up fine. At least the counts by category are correct.
Perhaps adding the need to delete excess columns and not having blank headers to he instructions would be a good thing. Makes sense in retrospect.

ParticipantI suppose the previous should have been set private, can you change that?
