That is correct behavior. I think is what I need to add to Form is a default visibility option setting to Form and/or check the current user permissions and base the default publish visibility on that.
If you can give me a temp admin account, I can make a change that set the entry to public automatically that way you do not need to edit the entry afterward.
As far as Link not linking… I’ve been tracking an issue that occurs only when used in conjunction with membership plugins. Those plugins hook into the same login hook and tend to run before Link and redirects the page before Link even has the opportunity to run and so a Link can not be checked for and established. I do have a fix that seems to work and if you get me the temp admin account; I can apply that fix too.
