FIXED!
I located the issue, it was in the page where I am displaying the member directory.

This below was buried in the page text.

<!– [connections show_alphahead='true'] –>

I removed it, updated the page in WP, refreshed the browser page and it is now displaying correctly.

Not sure why it just now caused an issue?
