I found the issue – in the code that I can change from the following link: http://connections-pro.com/documentation/plugin/template/slim-plus/shortcode-options/

For some reason when you copy it: color=’#00508D’ <- note it does not have ‘ but ’ and that makes it not work.

Will put this in your bug fix as well.
