The settings page is a bit of a nightmare because there are many events that can be setup trigger an email notification, each with its own custom message and recipients. the page is a huge long list. I don;t like it but I guess it’ll do for a first pass. What is holding up finishing it is creating custom shortcode that are entry specific so the message can contain the entry details rather than a generic dump of the entire info. I’m hoping to get this functionality baked in the 0.8 release of Connections due towards the end of the month so I can finish the notification extension. Honestly, I’m not sure I’ll be able to get it in this release because the API I’m working on now for custom metaboxes and fields is taking quite a bit of time to flesh out but it is coming along nicely.
