Sorry, but Connections does not have an inbuilt method for creating galleries or assigning images other than a logo/photo. I am working on a custom metabox and field API for Connections that could allow somthing like to be done fairly easily, but honestly, I could not tell you when it will be added or an extension released to add these features.
