FULLTEXT search is already supported by Connections, but because there are a large number of hosts that do not allow this do to the increase MySQL load the simple keyword search is enabled by default too. YOu can turn this off and that should help with the search results.

Go to the Connections : Settings admin page, click the Search tab. Here you can disable the keyword search and configure which fields should be queried.
