That makes sense and that is how I figured it worked. As a test, right now I am working with two individuals that are in my directory. Both are accessing the site through IE. . . I have them both listed as subscribers and I have the subscribers checked to be able to add and edit entries.
One of the users logs in, hits the update my entry and the screen shows exactly what is in his entry area, picture, addresses, etc. The other logs in, hits the update my entry and brings up a blank screen indicating he has to add all of his material, although it is all there already. I cannot figure out what the difference might be. They are under different categories in the directory but that shouldn’t make any difference. They are both marked as visible and public. I entered the details for both of the entries.
If links are persistent perhaps something happened in that area – but according to my faculty member it didn’t. I’ve removed him and will re-enter him with the same email link that he has on his directory to see what happens.
I’m not sure where to look?
