The solution would be update to cMap 3.0.x and port the changes from you custom variation. The upgrade is free and can be downloaded from your Purchase History.

With your version of cMap and your custom version they can be found here:
../wp-content/connections_templates/

Moving forward, since template and migrated to being a full fledge plugin you’ll find them in the plugins folder. So, after you install the cMap 3.0.x you’ll find it here:
../wp-content/plugins/cmap
