I’m not familiar with how WPML works, but I know at least one other user is doing exactly what you’re asking … how exactly, I don’t know. But I think they just enter both languages in each field and used the WPML tags to show the correct language. I would say this is something you couldn’t expect a user to do. I hope that helps.
